Adults should try to minimize the amount of time spent being sedentary (sitting) for extended periods of time. If working in an office, ensure you get up, stretch, make a drink at least once an hour.
The Food Standards Agency suggest drinking 6-8 glasses of water a day (1.6-2 litres).
